Screening of Chloroform and Methanolic Bark Extracts of Commiphora caudata for its In-vitro Anti-bacterial, Anti-fungal and In-vivo Anti-inflammatory Activity

Herbal medicines and their preparations have been widely used from the thousands of years in developing developed countries primary health care society community. They great demand due its safety, efficacy with minimum side or adverse effects. Commiphora caudata. It’s known as konda mava kannada, ikkata Sanskrit hill mango English. management various disorders. Hence identification bioactive fractions parts selected medicinal plant is important. In present research work an attempt has made to screen assess antibacterial, antifungal anti-inflammatory activities caudata barks. The barks material were collected, authenticated, powdered subjected for extraction procedure. extracts screened presence phytoconstituents. antibacterial activity chloroform methanolic performed against strains bacteria fungi. also investigated in-vivo activity. result investigation concludes that extract potential inhibit growth microorganism produced effect.
